Found my Donor engine and transmission
I searched high and low to find a low Mile 3800 Supercharged engine and transmission for my swap. I finally found one in Houston Texas. Cost me a bit more than I would have liked but it was one of the only ones I could find with low miles at just over 50k miles. It was in a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP.
At the time I did not get very good information as to what all was needed for the swap other than engine trans wiring harness computer and axles. Now I know better that I didn't need the wiring and computer from that car since it is a drive by wire in 04 and my Fiero is drive by cable so in order to make it work in my Fiero I need a 1997-2003 wiring harness and pcm. Would have been nice to know this before I bought the wrong stuff. Hopefully I can sell the 04 wiring harness and pcm and get some of my money back.
