Brake upgrade

I decided to upgrade my Fiero Brakes front and rear.
After alot of research and mis information I realized that 1989 Grand Am brakes would work for me as I wanted to keep the stock rims on the car. I found a guy that makes Aluminum hubs for the front of the Fiero so that you can bolt on the Grand Am rotors to the front as the Fiero rotors as you may know have the hub and rotor all in one. I have also read that Beretta rotors will work for the front of the Fiero as they are all one peice like the Fiero ones are.

What everyone doesn't tell you is that they will bolt right up with no mods on the rear of the Fiero but the front ones do not. Below are photos of what needs to be ground down in order for the Grand am rotors and caliper's to be able to work on the Fiero front end.

The photo above shows where I had to grind down like 3mm it was like 21mm before now it's like 18mm of the Fiero caliper bracket. The locations I ground down are the nice shinny ones where the caliper bolts on.

The photos above show the other part of the Fiero caliper bracket that I had to grind down to make the Grand Am rotors and calipers fit.

Below the areas circled in green are the ones that need to be ground down to make the 1989 Pontiac Grand Am Front Calipers work on the Fiero front end. You also have to use the Grand Am left caliper on the Fiero Right or passenger side and also the Grand Am right Caliper has to go on the left side of the Fiero or driver's side. Only the fronts have to be out on this way. The reason for this is the bleeder screw has to gave upward.
