Engine and transmission

I started with an 04 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP supercharged engine and transmission with 54k original miles on them. I decided to make a few upgrades since it was easy to do at this point.

 So I added an XP Cam, LS 7 lifter ported and polished heads with 136lb valve springs, 16.5 Rocker arm, Ported lower intake, Full stack intercooler, 2.8 Zzp supercharger pully, Rollmaster double timing chain and Zzp power logs.

Sadly after installing this and after driving just 30 miles I spun a rod bearing. So since I was now forced with a total rebuild I made the lower end as best as I knew how. I removed the balance shaft had the block cleaned and bored .20 over and installed JE 3800 Forged Pistons 8:5.1 Compression Along with Zzp 4340 H-Beam Connecting rods, I decide to go up to the xpz cam because of how good the idle of the xp was and they both are supposed to idle basically the same.
