2012 Cadillac CTSv fuel pump access hatch Fore tripple pump fuel system install Instructions

So since the Fore fuel system came with little to no instructions, I figured I'd post pictures and information on my Install of my Fore triple Fuel Pump System on my 2012 Cadillac Ctsv coupe using a CTSv fuel pump access hatch cover that I made.

Like many of us I sadly looked to Facebook for answers to our questions that clearly others have had at one point. So I figured, hey we all have the same interests so why not ask? Sadly its not the place to go to ask questions or for help as everybody knows everything and they don't want to share that information for some reason, Not everyone, but most everyone.

So I hope this helps others with their questions. I am also designing a much better access hatch to cover the hole that is cut to access the fuel pumps if you choose to go that route like I did. send  me an email or message if you would like to buy one of my covers for your project. If you don't do it this way you have to take out the whole rear suspension and pull the gas tank down to get at the pumps. I don't know about you but that's alot of wasted time doing it that way.

So Below is a photo of all the parts I received, Although I am missing the fittings to attach to my flex fuel sensor and the Holley hydromats that I decided to put on the bottom of my pumps.
For my system I bought 3 Holley hydromats part # 16-111 they do take some playing around with to get them situated the best way on the bottom of the pumps. They are way better for fuel suction during fast launches at low fuel level than the stock ones that come with the pumps.
This is the best orientation that I came up with. I'll put the two longest parts toward the rear of the tank for hard launches.
To install these remove the stock ones with a screwdriver prying the white plastic piece down away from the pumps. To install the new ones push them on and rotate them to where you need them then lightly tap the white plastic piece to make sure they are in all the way.

So the first thing I did on my CTSv was to of course disconnect the battery. Then I took the lower part of the backseats out. Simply pull up on the front part of the bottom seat cushions and it comes right off.  Next I took the white plastic wire holder off so I could pull up the white sound deadner and black rubber piece to move to the drivers side.
I then started measuring using a CTSv fuel pump access hatch cover that I received from someone. I traced it where it fit best and traced the outline on the cars floor pan. I then started doing some measuring. As you can see in this photo below.
The bottom of this photo is the drivers side of the car and the left side of the photo is the front of the car.
So what's wrote on here will work but after cutting it open and if I had to do over again I would measure and cut as follows.
In the bottom of this photo I have measured 6" from the center of that round Floor plug I would switch this to 8" and cut that line from front to the back of the car.
From the front of the car I measured 1" from the bend where it becomes flat and cut that line which was perfect.
Now measure from the passenger seatbelt bracket bolt side of the washer to the front of the car 3 1/2 " that will be the back of the car from left to right cut line.
The square that is cut out should measure about 7 1/2" x 7 1/2"
Below is a visual description of what part to cut out in bold black lines. I would recommend using a cut off wheel to cut the opening on your Cadillac CTSv it Seems to make the nicest cuts. I started with an air nibbler thinking this would be the safest ( no Sparks and the cutting depth wouldn't come close to hitting any lines or wires) be careful with the cutoff wheel to not go to deep with it and hit the lines or wires, Look at the photos below to see the location of them.
After the hole is cut this is somewhat what it will look like, But remember that I cut an 1" more of the drivers side than needed. The dimensions in white are the ones that you will use and it's a perfectly centered cut.
If you would like to purchase one of my CTSv fuel pump access covers for $100 ourOrder your Fuel Pump access cover hatch here. The total cost of the cover which includes free shipping anywhere in the United States is $100.

Here are some photos of where I will be installing some of the other parts needed to complete the system.
In the photo above the controller fits here pretty good and does not interfere with the carpet being reinstalled.
This location was actually from a Facebook user that was nice enough to share. I was going to put it further up near this location but after fitting the carpet back in this location is ideal since it is best to have this as close to the pumps as possible.
I have put the fuse in this location with Gorilla double sided tape but I might change this location and just let it fall in line with the wires.

Unfortunately I had to order Wire ends.
So I can put these ends on to the wires from the pumps.
Okay not alotof progress today but I was able to at least out these ends on the pump wire ends.
I used the grey ends that were in this kit which seems to fit perfectly.
As you can see in the next photo I installed them into the controller and they fit Really well.
I took a Sharpe and marked which plug was for which pump so that I can make sure when I plug them in they are plugged into the correct pump.

I'll keep updating this as I move forward. This should all be done by the middle of March 2020 at the latest.
